| Subject: | 2+ IDE interface, which one? |
From: Robbin Van Ooy <amiga@multiweb.nl>
Hey there,
Normally I would have posted this to the cu-list, but since most you are on
both lists, might aswell ask here :)
Anyway, I currently have the following setup:
A1200 Power Tower
ppc 603e175+040
Bvision
One IDE harddrive
One IDE Cdrom drive
The problem is, I want another Harddrive, and possibly a CD writer aswell.
But my current IDE cable only allows for two IDE devices to be connected.
So, I need to replace it.
AFAIK these are my options:
non-buffered 4x IDE interface
buffered 4x IDE interface
PowerFlyer
IDEfix express
What's the best buy for me out of these options? I'm asking because Ive got
a Bvision and Im not sure which of these fit on the clock expansion port.
Also, I do not want SCSI, period.
Any advice welcome, thanks in advance.
