Hmm, and if my memory serves me right, there's a section on him in Encarta
97, including a sample of him saying:
"Microsoft was founded based on my vision of a personal computer in every
desk and in every home. We have never wavered from that vision..."
So I figure, wouldn't he much rather make a cheap, efficient operating
system, perhaps even a form of Windows 2000 integrated with AmigaObjects,
rather than having Win98 fixed up and selling it with only profit in mind?
(MS's pricing strategy seems to be, "figure out what they really SHOULD sell
it for, then double it"...)
