Hey guys :o)

Now then, I`ve been trying to network Doom for around a year now, and
finally I seem to have got it :o)) (Hurrah!) anyway..

first off i managed to get it going running TOR on an A1240 + A1230 with
standard serial ports

the a1240 had to be started from early startup, to run successfully

So then i decided to Dig out the A4k (Currently awaiting upgrades - I`m
unemployed just now). Its got an a3640 rev9 accellerator?
anyways its got one of them Hypercom ZII\ZIII serial\parallel ports and I
can`t run the ports at more tham 38400 Baud

These ports used to run succesfully with pronet and my A1240`s surf
squirrel @ serious baud rates 230400? ( Pronet loved it :o) ) with an 030@33
+ fpu in the A4k

Now with the 040@25 installed (with 040 drivers) the Hypercom don`t like it
- it stalls after about a minute (Baud Too High i reckon)

I heard somewhere that rev 9 a3640`s interfere with ZIII big time - is this
true?
Also the A4040@25Mhz doesn`t seem to run Doom much better than the
A1230@33MHZ :o( , I have the A4k running from early startup also, just to
free up chipram. I`m thinking this may be slow due to the ram: being situated on
the other side of the mobo from the cpu expansion slot :o)

I`m sure my old Blizzard1230IV ran it better than this one?

Any thoughts would be appreciated Gents :o)

Thanx.
