Thats not what I wanted to do anyway.

Correct.!
right, I've looked in my tower and the drive power connector
won't connect to the fan.. so I guess I'm gonna have to cut
some wires huh? (oh dear.!)
it was mentioned by a friend, that to boost power to the edge
connector, I could plug my drive power connector into the
normal 1200 drive power connector... hmm
now this seems strange to me, connecting a power out to
a power out..?
do you guys know if this will work?
