Criticism, eh? Ok, let's see...
The bloke on the front cover. Don't like his haircut. Could have someones
eye out with hair like that. ;)
Something about the words "The future of computing" in big letters on the
cover seems a bit, erm, cheesy.
The CD's in a crap little plastic wallet, rather than a proper case!!!
Look at all those big thick PC mags (the ones with hundreds of pages of
adverts). They've all gone from crap little plastic wallets, or little
cardboard envelopes to real, proper CD cases lately.
And the glue sticking the CD onto the mag is a bit useless too. Can't peel
it off and do fun things with it. (Who _hasn't_ done anything fun with the
glue that used to be holding CUCDs to the front cover?)
I like the back2back bits comparing Photogenics/ImageFX and
Voyager/IBrowse, that's a nice idea. Would it not be better if that came
after the 2 reviews, rather than between them? You want to read both
reviews before you read the bit comparing the two, surely?
And don't get me started on the benefits of percentages over marks out of
10 ;)
Apart from that, and I'm just being picky really, it's very impressive.
Looks very nicely designed, I like the nice shiny paper, and it hasn't got
the problem AF has. (You know, the one where they seem to talk complete
crap half the time. I guess you lot know your stuff a bit more than they
do ;)
I haven't had a chance to look at the CD yet. Something for the weekend, I
think.

I'll be writing a letter soon complaining about the lack of cakes soon
then ;)
Seriously, you've all done a very good job and should be congratulated.
Should be, that is. You won't be until I see the second issue and I'm
satisfied that you're going to be improving on it all the time.
(Yes, I'm rambling, but I've got an interview this afternoon so I'm trying
not to think about things too much. I hate interviews).
