Make sure you're using the most accurate player, ie Delitracker and the latest
XM player (I think "Fasttracker2i") from http://exotica.amigascne.org/ - I'm
afraid HiP, Eagleplayer, etc., no matter that they may be better programs and
easier to use than Deli simply don't play many XM's correctly and don't support
certain Fasttracker commands, real stereo panning (ie not just alternate
left/right for each channel), sample envelopes, etc. Having heard dozens of
XM's played on their native PC programs and comparing them with Deli I can
honestly say this hand-on-heart (in fact Deli plays some modules better than
Modplug now)!

(I don't want to get in to a "which module player is best" argument here, it's
just that Deli is, for 95% of modules, most *accurate* at reproducing these PC
formats, provided you get the latest players! :) I'm quite happy to admit
that Deli is utter pants at playing many Protracker mods!)

While you're at the "exotica" site make sure you get the latest IT player too
as this is a much updated version over the one supplied with Deli v2.27, and
the "ImpulseDecruncher" genie which will let you play all the latest packed
Impulsetracker modules which seem to be the only ones replaced these days.

Neil - do you think you could update the players in the Delitracker
distribution on the AACD with the latest ones?

Regards,
Keith
