I have heard some truelly terrible mods in my time.. ones with samples about
10 seconds long, just looped to the next one to make it sound like a mod,
so I know what you mean, but I dont think that we should be "encouraging"
protracker mods to the cd.
Ive been making mods for about 6 years or so now in various forms, and
although my last mod "phaser" was released at the end of last year, I have
gone into more serious hardware, and I now own a Roland Mc-505 amongst
other things.. so I too have come into the scene via the amiga, and my
first 500, but does that mean I should mp3 all my work and upload them for
cd submition?
I could of course do that.. but I dont think it would interest anyone other
than people like ourselfs.. into the music.

If we fill the cd up with mods made on pc's, there are billions of them..
and Id rather have a limited selection of quality mods made on amigas, for
amigas, rather than have a few hundred megs of crap (well.. ok) mods made
on pc's, for pc's.

Do you know what I mean?

You can have too much of a good think, I think it should be kept for Amiga
scene mods only.
Unless your name is Paul aka DJkus and you can mp3 all your work on the
roland gear and upload it for cd submition of course, I think thats fine ;D

See ya l8er
Paul
