Hi,

Let's get this out of the way: bought mine in WHSmiths in the Plaza, Oxford
Street.

Right, let's see...

Firstly, the mag is superb and I'll be buying it every month (probably won't
subscribe though because I have Uni and home addresses and money is tight).

I don't think the mag is a "son of CU" or any other Amiga mag for that
matter. To me it actually seems more like a cross between Amiga Computing
and CU Amiga and has come out better than both. Techno Tragedies and
Retroactive are both along a similar nostalgic vein so I see little point
in having both in the mag. The A-Z was fairly pointless in the first place
IMHO, did anyone actually learn anything from it? However the Explorer
diary could do with a continuation - maybe on the CD so no more space is
taken up in the mag and lots of screenshots and anims could be included.

Any chance of putting the CD in a jewel case or would this put the price up?
If not, how about supplying an inlay for a jewel case in the mag or on the
CD in jpeg form. Alternatively, how about a special edition CD holder that
could take a year or two's worth of AACDs (you could give it away with
subscriptions!)

As an aside that magic goo stuff that CU used to use was the best! No torn
or sticky front cover or CD case and easy to remove... bliss!

That's enough of my ranting for now, maybe more later!

See ya later, Pete
