Yes, I remember reading the Commodore used some really weak 95 Watt
in their A4000s, though when Quikpak started making machines (A4000T
they used other better powersupplys and bigger standard PC cases).

This could well be your problem...though I don't own a A4000 or A4000T
for that mater, so I cannot really say...though I hope this helps
