Hey Don
From what some of the distributors have told me is that they
have already received the first batch of BoXeRs waiting for the
confirmation from Mick that it is ok to send them out. I would post
this bit of information on Amiga.org but since there is no hard facts
on it yet it is not worthy of a news item.
I will say that there is a major difference over the 2000 in
either the 3000 or the 4000. For one thing you have full ZIII
instead of ZII which in all honesty is remarkably fast. Another is
the fact that you have true 32bit memory which includes the chip
memory and you have a way of mass expansion from one of the many kits
that are out there. I just helped a friend of mine open his 4000 to
a tower with 7 ZIII slots and two true video slots much like the
4000T. There are other major differences but speed is the main
part. If you don't believe me, take a look at some of P96Speed tests
that they have received, you'll know who is using a ZII and who is
using ZIII.

You could also consider just getting a 68040 card for the A2000. If
you already have a graphics card there is no big advantage to the
A4000 over the A2000, unless you want to get a G4 card.

BoXeR is not out until November, from current predictions.
