Having said that they did not really beat their compition on other
platforms...The PC
was still big, and they still charged stupid prices for outdated equipment
(look at the
CD32 for example, this was basically standard A1200 with no floppy, no
amazing
upgrades, no keyboard (unless you found a cheap A4000 one), etc.
Yes, I see the point of advertising..but when a list is full with everyone
singing prases
for Amigactive and you are advertising at the same time......I don't really
see the point,
though I am not trying to stop you advertising, but it gets a bit annoying
when people advertise
all of the time (have you seen the Playstation ad with the girl with the
freakish big eyes, that
scares me (I reckon she is a genetic mistake or something)). Though if you
see an advert all the
time you get bored of it, I am just really trying to say you don't want to
risk boring the Amiga
community not when the Amiga community is also annoyed with people like
Amiga Inc at the
moment.
Its not like your going to be making TV ads (not with a community so small),
but advertising in general
gets abit annoying after awhile..I hope I have kind of made my point, and I
will probley get flamed for this.
