HOW TO CORRECT THE LIST: ======================== NEW DISTRIBUTIONS: ------------------ In order to add a NEW distribution to the list, its request must be jointly submitted by at least two system administrators prepared to state they are using it (not just planning to use it). What this means is that you must send the request in, and cc your friend, who must *do the same*!! DELETIONS: ---------- If someone mails me a message saying "DELETE distribution foo", then I will post the request to news.admin.misc. If there are two replies in the next 60 days from the date of the distributions post, saying "don't delete it, I still use it", then the distribution stays else it goes. FORMATS: -------- One of "NEW", "DELETE", or "CORRECT". NEW distribution: City/COUNTY-PROVINCE/STATE/COUNTRY DELETE distribution: City/COUNTY-PROVINCE/STATE/COUNTRY CORRECT old entry|new entry o The "distribution tag" should be lower case. The others should be upper case iff they have been defined elsewhere as a distribution. If it *has* been defined, then please use the actual distribution tag. o If a distribution has *not* been defined, then please spell out the name in lower case and mark it with an asterisk (*); DO NOT USE YOUR POSTAL CODE.
