"Goddess" is a lavish, big-budget Las Vegas musical, currently onstage at the Stardust Hotel. The show's producer, Tony Moss, runs a tight ship of 22 dancers, most of whom are women.

Nakedness and explicit acts of sexuality are rampant in this production, but "Goddess" is nonetheless a classy, respected show, expansive in its scope, concept and set design. Volcanoes erupt, motorcycles fly off ramps, and giant stone pillars seem to rise into infinity.

In the middle of all this spectacle is the "Goddess" herself, Cristal Connors, often hanging suspended by wires or being worshiped by throngs of fearful dancers. "Goddess" is the hottest show in Vegas, and has turned Cristal from a lowly line dancer into the toast of the town. In addition, the show means big money for the Stardust, and brings personal prestige to its entertainment director, Zack Carey. The show's PR head, Phil Newkirk, often offers the dancers in "Goddess" high-paying employment at unrelated outside events, such as trade shows.
