A far cry from her role as high school student Jessie on TV's Saved By The Bell, Elizabeth Berkley makes her motion picture debut as Nomi Malone, the star of Showgirls.

A dancer since age 4, Berkley says, "I've been preparing for this role my whole life. Twelve years, two to three hours a day dancing. I can't really put that into words, except to say that it's in my blood, it's in my bones, it's in my heart. Acting will always be my first love, but, like Nomi, I can't exist without dance in my life."
