Al Torres manages The Cheetah Club, the strip bar where Nomi Malone first begins her dancing career. If the money is right, Al will sometimes order a dancer to engage in activities that make her uncomfortable. He sincerely believes that no act is too demeaning so long as the money is good enough. But despite his exploitive, misogynistic attitude as a manager, Al rarely acts on his tough talk, and tries (albeit unsuccessfully) to be understanding of his employees' problems. He has a soft spot for all his "girls," especially Henrietta Bazoom, who has been a regular performer at the Cheetah Club for many years.
