UVMS 1.0 --------- ... Ultra Video Master Saver 1.0 is the first program on the world that can save Videomaster (Microdeal) - Videofiles as Opt-ANIM5 files! I wrote this program in 1996 - 3 years after I got my Videomaster AGA. The usage is as easy as the usage of Ultraconv, THE ultimative conversion engine (gfx/conv/UConv**.lha). USAGE: ------ When you doubleclick on the Gadget of UVMS then a window like the following appears: _________________________________ |o| UVMS 1.0 (c) 96 by Felix |[]| | +--------- Panel -----------+ | | | Num.: 10 Single | | | | Drive: hd0: STOP! | | | +---------------------------+ | | Start! | +-------------------------------+ Panel: Num.: Type the number of frames of the VMAS-video-file in the field after this text. e.g. 10 Single / Double: Sometimes UVMS works not right on some machines. Then choose »Double«. Drive: Type in the name of an empty partition in the field after this text. e.g. hd0: Stop!: If you want to stop the "conversion", click this button on! Start!: Starts the "conversion". No how to convert a video-file: 1. Start UVMS 2. Start Videomaster-mainprogram 3. Load the videofile into Videomaster-mainprogram 4. Click on »Save iff« and save the first frame directly on the partition you use as »Drive«. e.g. under "P001.IFF" 5. Then enter the number of frames into the UVMS-Panel. 6. Goto frame 1 at the Videomaster-mainprogram 7. Click on »Start!« 8. Bring Videomaster-mainprogram-screen to the foreground at the left top side within 5 seconds after the click 9. When UVMS is ready a window will appear that tells you to close the Videomaster-mainprogram. 10. Close the window. 11. After a short time you should fine the anim as »Anim.anm5« on your chosen partition. Really easy, he ? - Felix Email to: bs168@fim.uni-erlangen.de My adress: Fa. Armin Schwarz z. Hd.
