Brief ________________________________________________________________

 Headliner is a  program which  can create  large text in messages out
 of ASCII  characters.  New fonts can be created  easily for a variety
 of different styles.

 FEATURES

 o Message can be spread over a number of lines.
 o Font height variable (same height must be used per font).
 o Font width variable by each character.

Usage ________________________________________________________________

 INSTALLING HEADLINER
 ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
 The script  can be copied to where  you keep all of your Spot scripts
 (usually  'REXX:' or 'REXX:Spot' etc.).  The script  can be  run from
 the option 'Execute Script'  from the 'Arexx' menu or else,  and this 
 is a better  option, it can be  installed directly to the Arexx menu.
 To do this, see the Spot documentation.

 SETTING UP HEADLINER
 ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
 The temporary  file name  and the  font  directory can  be altered by
 editting the  Headliner.spot script and changing the lines indicated.

 The temporary  file name is  by default  'T:Spot.Headliner.Temp'  and
 the font directory 'Fonts:Headliner'.

 USING HEADLINER
 ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ
 Simply  call the script and you  will be faced with a fearsome dragon
 in  disguise  as a string  requester.  Enter  the first  line  of the
 headline  and  select  OKAY (or press  Return) and  repeat  for  each
 extra line or select CANCEL to stop.

 Now a  font  requester will  appear allowing  you to  select the font
 you wish to use.

 After a  few seconds  your editor will  appear  allowing  you to type
 a message.
