The final exhibition or Earth lab will provide visitors with the opportunity to explore, hands on, the world of rocks and minerals. Visitors will be able to see crystals growing and view their structural beauty through the microscope. Mineral hardness, electrical properties and interactions with heat and light will be just a few of the areas of investigation. Above all, visitors will be encouraged to explore the fascinating properties of materials in the world around us and learn how these are applied in our industry.
