Using our database which holds details of thousands of pictures in our collection, staff researchers will rapidly locate the images they need.
Transparencies are usually dispatched within one working day. The loan period is initially for one month, however this can be extended at no additional cost.
New photographs of Museum specimens or artworks can be taken by our staff photographers for addition to library stock as required.
Non-returnable prints and projection slides can be supplied from existent transparencies or negatives.
The fees charged will depend on the rights required and the nature of use - our rates card or a quotation will be sent on request.
The Museum's public galleries and some areas behind the scenes are available for hire as locations for film, video or TV productions and for promotional and fashion photography.
