The Museum hosts a variety of events, from Big Top shows to interactive art installations, all of which use science as their source of inspiration. We also organise a wide range of temporary exhibitions and special demonstrations, as well as a large programme of activities for National Science Week held every March.

Illustrated talks

Few people realise that over 300 scientists are based at the Museum, working on research projects with far-reaching effects throughout the world. Illustrated talks, presented by our scientists, provide the public with the opportunity to find out more about topics as diverse as meteorites and Boxgrove man.
