Today's Helsingin Sanomat reports:

Maranello/London -- On Tuesday Ferrari announced unexpectedly that Eddie
Irvine will partner Michael Schumacher in 1996. The contract also covers
the seasons '97 and '98. Ferrari did not disclose the amount of money
they are paying Jordan for the driver who was already under contract to
them. The Italian Corriere dello Sport speculates the amount to be in
excess of 5 million USD.
