Danny Porter of Orange Calif., leads the points race for the
overall SCORE International Desert Series championship following
the third round of the seven event series.

Porter is also leading the championship for his class, the 1600cc
VW-powered desert cars. Second in the overall series championship
and leading his class as well is Mike Julson of ElCajon, Calif..
Julson drives in the unlimited class.
