The 1995 SCORE Las Vegas 250 takes place this weekend in
Las Vegas, Neveda. The course, located 22 miles south of
downtown Las Vegas, is a 79.91-mile loop. The racers will
make 3 laps on the course.

The Tecate Trophy-Truck series for unlimited utility vehicles
gets underway at 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Drivers include
Toyota's Ivan Stewart, Dodge's Walker Evans, Chevrolet's 
Larry Ragland and Roger Mears, Jeep's Kurt LeDuc and Ford's
Robby Gordon. Bob Richey of Riverside, CA, who is currently
10th in the championshhip points, drives a Ford without
factory support. Richey says that it's important to start
at the front in a race where several laps are run.

"Dust has a tendancy to hang in the valleys. It will be to our
advantage to stay out front" Richey said.

Richey hopes to close the gap between him and points leader
Ivan Stewart this weekend. A win for Richey would put him
in contention for the championship. 

The Las Vegas 250 is the third event of seven in the
SCORE Desert Championship Series. The Las Vegas 250 starts
at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Fourteen classes of cars
and trucks will be racing in the event. More than 150 racers
have entered the event to date.

Spectator areas are at the start-finish line area and just south
of the Sloan gravel pit. The start-finish line is located on
Las Vegas Blvd., three miles south of Jean, Nevada. The Sloan
