STARRY FIELD OF HISTORIC RACE CARS SET FOR "ROLEX LEGENDS"

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- More than 30 Vintage and Historic racing cars
will participate in the fourth annual Rolex Legends At Daytona,
presented by Automobile Magazine, which will be held as part of Daytona
International Speedway's pre-race festivities for the Speedweeks
'95-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona on Saturday, Feb. 4, at about 1:30 p.m.

The variety of cars, most with a direct connection to Daytona, will
range from the 1965 Daytona Continental-winning '64 Ford GT Mk. I; to
versions of the Porsche 962 GTP car that won the Rolex 24 in 1991.

While most of the drivers would be classified as amateur sportsmen,
German Reinhold Joest, who won the 1980 24-hour in a Porsche Turbo,
has entered his own '73 Porsche 908/3. Two other drivers, Art Pilla
and Dennis DeFranceschi, will compete in the Rolex 24 At Daytona after
driving in the Rolex Legends, which is organized by Historic Sportscar
Racing, Ltd.

In addition to participating in the on-track exhibition, the Rolex
Legends machines will be on display for the balance of the day in the
Infield Display Area outside the East Horseshoe Turn. Fans can get close
to a piece of Daytona history at this display.

Advance Paddock Tags, which include four days' admission to the infield
or grandstands; paddock and garage areas, including the Infield Display
Area; and free infield car or van parking, are available until 5 p.m. on
Friday at the Daytona International Speedway Ticket Office. These "Super
Tickets" are $60 each, a major savings on individual daily admissions.
