WATKINS GLEN BUSCH GRAND NATIONAL RACE MOVES TO SUNDAY, UPPED TO 200 MILES

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. -- The NASCAR Busch Grand National race at Watkins
Glen International will get bigger and better in 1995, with the running
of a 200-mile event on Sunday, June 25. 

The International Motor Sports Association Exxon World Sports Cars will
return for the Saturday co-feature, running in the 12th annual Glen
Continental.

Former NASCAR Winston Cup champion Terry Labonte is the defending winner
of the event, formerly known as the Fay's 150, and is expected to defend
his title against NASCAR's Busch Grand National and Busch North Series
regulars, plus selected Winston Cup stars. Terry Labonte, a two-time
winner of the Fay's 150, is expected to defend his title, against an
anticipated field including Mike McLaughlin, David Green, Patty Moise,
Chad Little, Bobby Labonte, Ricky Craven, Curtis Markham, Larry Pearson
and Butch Leitzinger.

Saturday will feature the exciting International Motor Sports
Association Exxon World Sports Cars, combined with the Exxon GTS-1 and
GTS-2 classes in the 12th annual Glen Continental. The three-hour event
is set for the Glen's 3.4-mile Grand Prix course. Gianpiero Moretti is
the defending winner, co-driving a Ferrari 333 SC with Eliseo Salazar in
the 1994 event. Wayne Taylor, the first champion of the new series for
open-cockpit sports cars, will join Moretti in the bright red Ferrari
for the 1995 campaign.

Rounding out the weekend are a pair of Sunday races, the three-hour
IMSA Street Stock Endurance Championship and the USAC Formula Ford 2000
National Championship.

The weekend opens with the annual Jim Riesbeck Memorial Softball Game
Thursday evening at Eldridge Stadium in Elmira, featuring the NASCAR
Busch Grand National stars against the IMSA Exxon Tigers. The game will
be preceeded by an autograph session featuring drivers from both teams.

On-track action gets underway Friday at 8:15 a.m., with activities
including qualifying for both the Busch Grand National 200 and the Glen
Continental.
