BTCC: Alfa Romeo's future in doubt

  • ALFA ROMEO CONSIDERING ITS FUTURE IN BTCC

    Alfa Romeo is considering its future involvement in the BTCC. It was claimed by scrutineers at the snetterton round of the BTCC, that the front spoiler of the alfa was not the in the same position as the road version. The RAC British Motor Sports Council agreed with this ruliing. Gabriele Tarquini now lies second to Paul Radisich in the championship after being stripped of his two victories at Snetterton and one win at Silverstone. The Alfa were not allowed to practice at the Oulton Park round of the championship, and subsequently packed up and went home. Alfa is not considering its future in the BTCC.
