Reserved RV Spaces Available For '97 Daytona 500

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The largest audience in motorsports will grow larger
in 1997 with the addition of prime reserved recreational vehicle parking
spaces in the infield of Daytona International Speedway.  Although reserved
grandstand seats for the Daytona 500 are sold, race fans wanting a
"front-row" ticket to the "world's greatest race" can reserve a spot in the
popular "Yellow Reserved RV Area."

To accommodate the overwhelming demand for the Yellow Area, which was
developed for Speedweeks '96 inside the first and second turns of the
2.5-mile trioval, the Speedway has added parking spaces in the infield for
1997. In addition, a fifth day and fifth night has been added to the special
"Reserved RV Package." It now includes infield admission following on-track
activity Tuesday, Feb. 11, through Sunday, Feb. 16.

A reserved parking spot in turns one and two of the infield at the "World
Center of Racing" entitles fans to an exciting view of six races in five
days.  Included in the package are two infield tickets to the following
events (additional tickets are available):

Wednesday, Feb. 12	Final NASCAR Busch & Goody's Dash Series Qualifying
		Final NASCAR Winston Cup practice for the Gatorade
125s
Thursday, Feb. 13	Gatorade 125-Mile Qualifying Races for the Daytona
500 
Friday, Feb. 14		True Value Firebird IROC XXI
		DAYTONA USA 200 NASCAR Goody's Dash Series Race
Saturday, Feb. 15	Daytona 300 NASCAR Busch Series Race
Sunday, Feb. 16		Daytona 500 NASCAR Winston Cup Series Race

The 1996 Daytona 500 enjoyed the largest audience in motorsports with
record attendance at the Speedway and record television ratings on CBS Sports.
