                    The World Of Outlaws Will Race At
               Perris Auto Speedway-Wed. Nite Oct. 30, 1996

Perris, Calif.-(Aug. 23, 1996) "The very best of the winged sprint car
racers will race at the very 1/2 mile," announced Perris Auto Speedway
Director of Competition, Bubby Jones. "We met with the World of Outlaws'
President Ted Johnson at Knoxville on Wednesday (August 14) and our race
at Perris will be on Wednesday night, October 30, 1996."
        We're very pleased to be able to include this very special World
of Outlaws race event in our inaugural year here at 'The PAS'," said Ken
Kazarian, Vice President of Oval Entertainment, LLC; the operating
company for Perris Auto Speedway.
        Our facility has had quite a number of compliments since we
opened on March 30 (driver Ron Shuman called it, "The finest short-track
facility in the country." and Open Wheel Magazine called it "Sprint Car
Heaven"). So far we've had a wonderful opening year, the World of
Outlaws coming here will add even more excitement to racing 'The PAS'."
        Perris Auto Speedway is located in the Lake Perris Fairgrounds,
two miles East of Interstate Highway 215, just off the Ramona
Expressway. Reserved seats, "Season Tickets", and special discount group
rate ticket packages are now available for patrons of "The PAS", where
there are always plenty of great seats for EVERY event. (For group
