WOO: Tri-State cancelled 


           Skoal Outlaw Series Cancels Tri-State Event
    HAUBSTADT, IN (July 14) - Officials were forced to cancel the
Skoal Outlaw Series event scheduled for Sunday at Tri-State
Speedway when inclement weather made the track unsafe for racing.
    The event was not re-scheduled, giving the World of Outlaws'
fire-breathing, mud-slinging sprint car racing teams five days to
prepare for the King's Royal, scheduled for Friday and Saturday
at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH.
    Saturday's $50,000-to-win championship event will be televised 
live on TNN:  The Nashville Network between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.,
