Skoal Outlaw Series Postpones Cedar Lake Event
    SOMERSET, WI (July 8) - Repeated showers at Cedar Lake
Speedway Monday forced Skoal Outlaw Series officials to postpone
the $34,485 event.
    Re-scheduling the event for Tuesday means the World of
Outlaws' fire-breathing, mud-slinging sprint car racing teams are
scheduled to run six races at six different tracks in the next
six nights.
    Monday's rainout marked the 12th time this season the series
has had to postpone or cancel a race due to inclement weather.
Three dates have been completely lost, while nine more have been
postponed. Five of the postponements have been completed, while
four more have been inserted into the schedule. WoO
