TNN Joins Forces With World of Outlaws
     NASHVILLE, TN (July 3) - Network Enterprises, Inc. (NEI) a
property of TNN:  The Nashville Network, has formed a joint venture 
with the World of Outlaws sprint car racing series. The announcement 
was made today by David Hall, Senior Vice President, Cable Networks, 
Gaylord Entertainment, and Ted Johnson, Founder and President of the 
World of Outlaws.
     In the agreement, NEI will be responsible for marketing and
promotion of World of Outlaws events and will oversee the media
rights for the series.
     "The World of Outlaws is a very unique and exciting form of
motorsports, one that we feel has the potential for tremendous
growth," Hall said. "With the marketing strength of TNN Motorsports, 
our goal is to build the business of World of Outlaws sprint car 
racing and attract more race fans to the sport." Hall added that
TNN Motorsports is televising three World of Outlaws races live
from Pennsylvania, Ohio and Iowa this year.
     "Our organization is thrilled to associate 'the greatest show
on dirt' with the marketing power and expertise that TNN brings to
our sport," Johnson said. "This partnership will take the World of 
Outlaws to a new level with promotion and live television."
     Currently in its 19th season, the World of Outlaws is the
largest sprint car racing series in the world, attracting more 
than 1.5 million fans last year. This season, the series will award 
more than $9 million in purses, contingencies and point fund awards 
and run 71 events at 50 tracks in 26 states.
