Senneker finishes 15th at the highbanks of I-70 Speedway

With his best qualifying run of the year, Bob started 2nd in the Lane 
Automotive/JR Automation/Mr Gasket Ford at the Pontiac 300 at I-70 Speedway 
near Kansas City, MO. At the drop of the green flag Bob maintained his 2nd 
place standing until the car started to get "loose" and at the lap 50 mark, 
he faded to 8th place with the loose condition. He dropped all the way to 
15th, wheh he and the leaders decide to pit at  lap 117. The crew changed 
right side rubber during the 6th caution of the night. When the next caution 
fell 35 laps later at the lap 160 mark, Bob came back in to get fresh left 
side Goodyears, when he came back on the track he was running in the 10th 
position. Bob methodically works hi way to the front and at the lap 190 mark 
he is sitting in 4th place. When the leader, Beebe expires with a blown 
engine, Senneker is running third. On lap 264 as he is entering the fourth 
turn at the high banked track, he cuts down a right front tire which sends 
him up the banking as he lightly touches the wall with the right front; 
enough damage is done to sideline the "Bluebird" for the evening, Mike 
Miller who finished 2nd to Bob at Berlin, post his first ASA win since 1981. 
"Well it(the car) wasn't good enough for a win, but we were running top 5 
easy", said Senneker. "Something layed over on the right front of the car 
and I couldn't keep it off the wall. Too bad, we'll do it again next week." 
The ASA Series travels to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the "Hawkeye Downs 300" The 
race will be televised "Live" on TNN at 2PM (EDT). Senneker fell from 6th to 
7th in the point standings.
