Pepsi 400's Action will be On and Off the Track
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Plenty of on-track activity and a
once-in-a-lifetime happening -- the grand opening of DAYTONA USA
-- will highlight the 38th Pepsi 400 weekend at Daytona
International Speedway during the first week of July.
The 400-mile "Mid-Summer Classic" NASCAR Winston Cup Series
event will again mark the halfway point of the 31-race season at
11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6.
On Friday, July 5, at 8 a.m. DAYTONA USA, the "Ultimate
Motorsports Attraction," opens to the general public. For

Excellent reserved tower seats are available now for the
Pepsi 400. For seat selection call the Ticket Office at 904-253-
RACE (7223).
THURSDAY, JULY 4
NASCAR Winston Cup Practice: 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Busch Pole Award Qualifying: 2:30 p.m. (Two laps to set
positions 1-25)
Infield/Unreserved Grandstand Admission: $12
FRIDAY, JULY 5
NASCAR Winston Cup Practice: 9 - 11:30 a.m., 1:45 - 2:45
p.m. (Approx.)
Busch Beer Second-Round Qualifying: 1 p.m. (Two laps
to set positions 26-38)
Unreserved Grandstand Admission Only: $6
Infield Admission (After 6 p.m.): $35 (Infield gates open
overnight)
Infield Parking: Car/Van - $10, RV - $40

Expanded Ticket Hours to Serve Pepsi 400 Race Fans
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Daytona International Speedway
Ticket Office will be open on weekends beginning June 8-9 to
better serve ticket buyers for the July 6 Pepsi 400 NASCAR
Winston Cup Series "Mid-Summer Classic."
Weekend hours on Saturdays will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on
Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday hours are 9
a.m. to 5 p.m. The weekend service will continue throughout the
month of June.
Race fans should be aware that there are still plenty of
good seats available for the race. The Speedway Ticket Office is
located inside the lobby of the "World Center of Racing"
Visitors' Center.
Reserved grandstand seating for the 11 a.m. start of the
38th running of the Pepsi 400 is still available in prices
ranging from $35 to $70, depending on location.
Additionally, there are Reserved RV Packages available in
the Green RV Area located in Turn Four of the Speedway's infield.
These packages consist of one reserved RV location and two
Advance Infield Admission tickets (paddock admission not
included). Access to the Reserved RV Area is strictly
controlled.
