NOTES OF INTEREST: Bobby Labonte is the defending champion of the Coca-
Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Ward Burton set the NASCAR Winston 
CUP qualifying record of 185.759 mph in October, 1994 at CMS. Bobby 
Labonte holds the 600-mile race record of 151.952 mph set in May, 1995 
at CMS.
