    WHERE: Colorado National Speedway. Erie Colo. 3/8-mile paved

    WHEN: June 1, 1996. Race starts at 2 p.m. (MDT)

    DISTANCE: 250 Laps, 93.75 Miles

    SANCTION: National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR)

    PROMOTER: Colorado National Promotions, Inc. SCHEDULE: Optional Friday, May 31 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series: Registration up 9 a.m. Track practice from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Inspection 5 p.m.

    Saturday, June 1 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series: Garage opens 6 a.m. Registration and inspection 7 a,m. Drawing to determine order of qualifying 7:30 a m. Mandatory Rookie Drivers' meeting 7:30 a.m. Practice from 8:30 to 10:30 a m. Time trials (2 laps) 12 noon (all positions). Mandatory Drivers' & Crew Chiefs' meeting 12:45 p.m.

    NOTE: NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series registration closes two hours prior to race time.

    NOTES OF INTEREST: The one-lap qualifying record of 17.183 seconds, 78.566 mph was set by Ron Hornaday Jr. July 15, 1995 in a Chevrolet. This will be the first event at the 250-lap distance.
