SENNEKER FINISHES 7TH IN BUCKEYE 300

The "Buckeye 300" which was originally scheduled for April 28, but was 
rained out and was run on Mother's Day. Under partly cloudy skies with a 
brisk wind, the "Bluebird" was ready to do battle on the tight 1/3 mile 
Columbus (OH) Motor Speedway. Bob started 15th, when the 2nd caution flew at 
lap 17, he said the car was "loose" but would come around as the green flag 
laps continued. Bob was in 13th with the car "getting better" at lap 25
and at lap 44 he was 12th, by lap 67 he was 11th. The lead pack of cars were 
running in a single file line with passing at a premium, the only time 
drivers were moving up in position was when drivers spun out and lost 
positions. At the lap 87 mark, Bob cracked the top 10. At the Columbus event 
it is the only ASA event where a driver does not have to make a mandatory 
pit stop. Stopping for new tires is definately out of the question. The 9th 
caution waves when the #88 of Mike Eddy spins ahead of Bob, and that allows 
him to move into 9th place. At lap 160, Bob is in 8th place, but when the 
slower traffic spins in front and the leaders scramble, Bob gets shutled 
back to 9th. At lap 170 he regains 8th place, lap 176 he gets 7th. Although 
he makes an attempt to further himself in the field, late race cautions and 
slower traffic slow his progress and that is where he finished. "The Lane/JR 
Automation/Mr. Gasket Ford Thunderbird ran OK today, it was a litle lose at 
the beginning but it finally came around," said Bob. "This is a short, flat 
racetrack, that really shouldn't be called a racetrack. The key is just 
finishing and staying out of trouble."

on the car at the Columbus ASA race. JR Automation is a leader in building 
and designing special machines, automation systems, die quick change, heat 
stakes and robotic equipment.

Senneker Motorsports is still searching for a sponsor to replace 
Johnsonville, a replacement has not been found. YET. The marketing firm for 
Senneker, The RAN Group is still agressively looking for sponsors.

LAKELAND OUT, KENLY NORTH CAROLINA IN ON ASA SCHEDULE
Southern National Speedway in Kenly, NC will host the ASA finale November 
17, marking the first time ASA will compete in the hub of North Carolina on 
the four-tenths mile facility three hours east of Charlotte.
