Suzuka

Suzuka Track

Suzuka usually plays a key role in deciding the World Championship and the circuit is unique in Formula 1 in that it crosses over itself.

The track has been owned by Honda since 1963 and they put in a great deal of effort to bring the circuit up to it's current standard.

Suzuka features a good mix of fast and slow corners, the flat out 130R at the end of the back straight being the most daunting.

Suzuka has had its share of famous events, the collisions between Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in 1989 and 1990 which decided the title on both occasions.
