Monaco is the glamour race of the F1 calendar. It is the one race that all drivers would love to win after their home GP. The race is run around the streets of the famous Casino Town on a largely unchanged course.
Like all Grand Prix events the list of winners is distinguished, but Monaco perhaps more than any other race has a list of winners that encapsulates the very essence of Formula 1. Ayrton Senna won six times, Graham Hill managed five wins andAlain Prost won four times. The list of great drivers just goes on, Fangio, Moss, Villeneuve, Stewart, Lauda and for the past two years Michael Schumacher has claimed victory at Monaco.
