Pacific were another 1995 victim. However unlike some of the other teams Pacific left Formula 1 without huge debts. The managing director Keith Wiggins is determined that Pacific will return to Formula 1 in 1997. The Pacific team only qualified five times in 1994 failing to finish in any race. 1995 saw the team finish six times with a best result of 8th in Germany and Australia.

The smaller teams like Pacific who have to buy off the shelf engines are always on an uphill struggle, Pacific showed that it is possible to compete at the top level and get results even on a minimal budget (3 million UKP in 1994).
