Ferrari are considered by many to be THE team in Formula 1.

They have competed in every F1 race, winning 105 of them (a record).
Ferrari also hold the record for the number of constructors championship victories with eight. Had the constructors championship started in 1950 instead of 1958, then Ferrari would have at least two more championships as they dominated the 1952 and 1953 season winning 14 consecutive races (another record).

Ferrari last won the constructors championship in 1983 with Patrick Tambay and Rene Arnoux. The closest they have come in recent times was in 1990 when Alain Prost in his Ferrari 641/2 was beaten to the Championship by Ayrton Senna in the McLaren MP4/5B Honda. The title was decided when Prost and Senna crashed out in Japan, just like they had the year before.

Ferrari now have a very competitive car and in World champion Michael Schumacher they also have the best driver on the circuit.

Perhaps 1996 will see Ferrari return to the top of the constructors table.
