Raquel Velasco has extensive international business experience and has been involved in the formation of more than twenty companies. She has worked and traveled in more than 80 countries and is certified in six languages.

From 1982 to 1987, Raquel was one of two principals in a international trading company primarily focused in the textile and fashion industries with annual revenues of more than 200 million FF. Raquel has designed and sold her fashion collections through nearly every major high fashion designer and fabricator in Europe.

In 1988 Raquel was one of the three founders of Aeromartime UTA. Aeromartime UTA was the first successful "free market airline" in France. From 1988 to 1993 Raquel was involved in nearly all executive decisions, focused primarily on the service aspects of the business, including crew selection and training, in-flight service procedures, and "stop-over" crew support and services packages.
