Requirements for viewing the Stonehenge 3D model
Note: We strongly recommend Windows 95 due to the complexity of the Win32s installation under Windows 3.1x. Additional requirements: | |
| 1) Superscape's Viscape* Plug-in / ActiveX control. Note: Viscape for Netscape Navigator was released Friday, June 14th, so if you downloaded an earlier version to view the dancing sailors in the Pentium(R) processor 200Mz launch, you will still need to download this new version to view Stonehenge. Viscape ActiveX control for Microsoft's Internet Explorer is now available | 2) Win32S (v1.03) If you are running on a 16bit operating system (Windows 3.1x) then you will need Win32S (v1.03) in order for Viscape to work. If you have a 32bit operating system (Windows 95) then Win32S is not required. |
| 3) Netscape* 2.0 Viscape is both a Netscape 2.0 plugin and a Microsoft ActiveX control, and therefore you'll need Netscape's Navigator 2.0 or Microsoft's Internet Explorer Beta 2 (or later versions) | 4) 16bit colour The Stonehenge world will run on 256 colours, but it is best viewed with high colour (16bit or above). |

5) Download the Stonehenge model from the Intel (U.S. West Coast) or Superscape (U.K.) sites.
