The addition of the ProShare conferencing system to the BT portfolio provides a low-cost option for customers wanting multipoint audio, video and data sharing capability. Priced around 1,200 pounds in the UK and $1499 in the U.S., the Intel ProShare Video System 200 was the world's first standards-based desktop multipoint video, audio and data conferencing solution. The Intel ProShare product family, introduced in 1994, rapidly became world industry leader in desktop conferencing.
