MEDIA ALERT: Industry Leaders to Speak at Wired For Management, Intel’s Business Computing Forum On September 24

Computer industry leaders will join Intel at its one-day business computing forum titled Wired for Management on September 24. Intel and executives from Computer Associates, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Tivoli Systems, Microsoft and others will address an audience of more than a thousand CIOs and information systems executives, demonstrating and announcing the technologies and solutions that make the high-performance business PC manageable today. IT decision makers will be attending to learn how they can take advantage of a new PC management paradigm that will create a significant competitive advantage for their organization while reducing the costs of business computing.

Andy Grove, Intel president and chief executive officer, will kick off the forum with a keynote speech providing an overview of today’s environment for the managed, connected PC. In addition to other Intel executives, the speakers will include:

Russell M. Artzt, executive vice president of Development and co-founder, Computer Associates International, Inc.
William G. Bock, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Tivoli Systems Inc.

Joe Vetter, vice president, Sales and Consulting, Microsoft Corporation
Stephen DeWitt, vice president, Enterprise Marketing, Cisco Systems Inc.
Ronnie G. Ward, vice president and division officer, Enterprise Solutions Division, Compaq Computer Corporation.

Editors will have access to a working press room with phone, fax, PC and modem lines. A press buffet lunch will be provided, with access during lunch to industry speakers.
