t Intel, we are dedicated to being a responsible corporate citizen. We strive to promote public understanding of technology and to improve the quality of life in the communities in which we live and work.

A major focus of our outreach and giving programs is on education, learning, and technology literacy programs. We place a special emphasis on the support of our schools--specifically in math, science, and engineering education. Increasing the awareness and understanding of technology and improving education is the goal of our educational efforts.

Intel CEO, Andy Grove, visits with youngsters at Plugged In, in East Palo Alto, California.
We are also dedicated to supporting environmental initiatives and to assuring a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. Through the "Intel Involved" program, we provide volunteers to schools and nonprofit organizations in all of our Intel site communities. Intel also supports programs and offers scholarships to encourage women and underrepresented minorities to enter technology careers.
