We are excited to present the Realistic Display miXer (RDX) developer's kit. The RDX library provides a high level interface to accelerate development of multimedia tools, applications, and games. It allows you to focus your development energy on content creation rather than on the mechanics of interfacing with the system components. RDX technology is designed for Windows* 95 and uses the Microsoft* DirectX* SDK for optimal performance. It provides the following features:

RDX Demos
To see RDX in action, check out our demos. Please read the system requirements and the license agreement before downloading.
Three simple
demos demonstrate several basic capabilities of RDX including animation,
video display mixing and manipulation, and special effects such as shear and flip.
A fourth demo can be used to compare the performance of RDX on different machines.
A comprehensive demo
which highlights multiple RDX features integrated into one sample application,
illustrating how a multimedia title developer might use RDX. This demo showcases features
such as multiple scrolling backgrounds, a variety of 2D animations, video sprites, and
sound integrated into one application.

To download the Developer's Kit, please review the system requirements and license agreement, then fill out the registration form to gain access to the download page.
This software is for noncommercial, internal use only (see license agreement). To redistribute RDX 2.11 binaries with your product you must first contact Intel for a commercial, redistribution license. Please send all licensing requests to ial_product@ccm.jf.intel.com. Also, a beta copy of your product will be requested at this time.
