Welcome to Intel's Internet Media Developer Support Area. Our mission is to
enable software developers to build state-of-the-art applications based on Intel’s most advanced microprocessors,
PC platform innovations and Internet media development tools for audio and video technology. Media rich content,
high-performance connected PCs, and the Internet offer great opportunity for software developers. Compelling applications
that take advantage of these technologies will appear later this year and are important for developers who plan
to release products in 1997.
Our Internet Media Developer Support Program has three components: a DVD Authoring Studio, an MMXTM Technology Developer Support Program, with early access to MMX technology development systems, and an Internet Media Tools support program. The Internet Media Developer Support Program is designed to enable state-of-the-art software to arrive on the market at the same time as state-of-the art PC platforms. It will help shorten the lag time between new processors and systems introductions and the software designed to take advantage of those new platforms capabilities. |
