Preferences
To change your preferences, edit your prefs= options in the URL. Sometime this week you will be able to edit them automatically from a form. You can make a bookmark of the page when you are happy with it, and it will save the preferences.
These options may not yet work with Frames compatible browsers.
b0 - turn off the background image
b1 - turn on the background image
f0 - turn off frames
f1 - turn on frames
v0 - display only site names
v1 - display verbose information when displaying matches
v2 - display all information
h0 - do not display help file
h1 - display preferences
h2 - display search tips

The following options are not yet available, but will be sometime today.
i0 - do not display images
i1 - display images in IFF format
i2 - display images in GIF format
i3 - display images in PNG format
i4 - display images in JPEG-LQ format
i5 - display images in JPEG-HQ format
n0 - do not display new files automatically
n1 - auto-display new files added within 24 hours
n2 - auto-display new files added within 7 days
n3 - auto-display new files added within 1 month
m0 - do not display menus
m1 - display text menu only
m2 - display cgi based graphical menu
m3 - display cgi based graphical menu & text based menu
m4 - display client side image map
m5 - display client side image map & text based menu
