Ferrari 512 TR Design

Exterior Styling

Research to achieve the best possible aesthetics for a car is a never-ending process. This is the perspective through which the latest changes on the 512TR should be considered. The Testarossa exhibits an extremely strong character and bold design, and is still considered contemporary many years after its original introduction. Any radical changes are not only uncalled for, but are also difficult to accomplish in lieu of the engineering inside. This is a typical procedure for many Ferraris of the past and is usually done in conjunction with important mechanical changes. This philosophy further enhances the aesthetics of the machine.

Interior Finishing

The interior has been restyled, yet the original concept has been main-tained. The seats are completely new in design and structure. The center console was eliminated, a testament to the increased structural rigidity in the chassis. The ancillary instruments have been repositioned under the central part of the dashboard.

The design of the door panels and the arm rests has been simplified. This adds a new color scheme for better contrast with the dash cover. The front luggage compartment is larger and there is a newly designed set of luggage available.

Instrumentation with new graphics incorporating CheckEngine and SlowDown warning lights.

Redesigned seats for better lateral and longitudinal support. The overall seating position has been lowered by 13 mm.

The steering wheel has been offset for easier access from the driver's seat.

Larger capacity AC unit provides greater air flow rate, improved defrosting of the windshield, and enhanced climate control.

New opening mechanism for the front hood.

New and faster power windows.
