Impatiently waiting for a month, another Puff comes out finally... Here are
bits & pieces from the latest Puff, #9:
1. Interview with Toujou Kazumi on the new CD on his/her (could someone tell
me is Toujou a man or a woman??? ^_^;;) manga "Kimi wa boku no taiyou da" (You
are my sun.). The CD will be released on Aug 21.
2. 2-page special on the OAV of "Onikirimaru", based on the horror manga by
the beautiful Kusunoki Kei. In this special, Kusunoki talked with CV Kusao
Takeshi (playing Onikirimaru; his other works include Trunks in Dragon Ball,
Sakuragi in Slam Dunk, Lamune in Lamune & 40, etc.), Hisakawa Aya (playing
Tomoko; her other work includes Skuld in Ah megamisama, Ami in Sailor Moon,
etc.), and Tomizawa Michie (playing Sunaoka; her other work includes Rei in
Sailor Moon.). The OAV will consist of 4 volumes, 30 minutes each, released by
KSS (the same company which released Ah megamisama OAV), 4800 each.
3. A big special on "Shoot!", the manga that won the shounen section of this
year's Kodansha award. Written by a female mangaka, Ooshima Tsukasa, this is a
story about soccer. "Shoot!" is her debut work. She is born Jan 30 1970,
in Shizuoka Prefecture. This special includes an interview with her, pics from
the anime "Aoki densetsu Shoot" which is airing on Fuji TV, Sunday
9:00-9:30am, characters info from the manga, matches brief from the story, and
storyline, etc. The result of character poll from readers is :

4. Yasuhara Ichiru (Angel Beat) has a new manga with Kuwahara V. Sanrou in
Monthly Shounen Magazine called "Sannin to hitori". Gee, it looks so different
from Angel Beat. Did he draw it or did he just write the story?
5. This month's most interesting manga voted by readers are:

3. Hana sakeru seishounen
6. Yuu Yuu Hakusho has just finished in Shounen Jump on July 11. I didn't
expect it would be finished this soon, considering its popularity. Looks like
Yuusuke, Kuwahara, Kurama & Hiei were all happy at the end. That's good.
7. A long long interview with Ozaki Minami! She is taking a holiday that's why
you cannot find "Bronze" in Margaret at the moment. In volume 13, Nanjou Koji
cut his own arm off! .... Kyaaaa .....!!!! This really could stop any fan's
heart beat. ;_; Ozaki has not decided when will she continue the story again.
8. A special on Watase Yuu's "Fushigi Yuugi", with inteview, characters info
and story brief, plus lots of famous scenes from the manga. This manga is set
in ancient China, and still running in Shoujo Comic.

Lala #10, on sale Aug 24.
12. On Apr 27, Kouga Yun gave birth to her lovely daughter, Miyabi, and now
after her maternal break, she restarts everything again! "Earthian" will start
again in South Autumn, Aug 17, "Choujuu densetsu" will start again in G
Fantasy in Aug 18, "Genji" in Wings on Aug 27, and "Yosei jiken" in Afternoon
will come back soon as well.
